What We’re About
Queen City (QC) Cocoa Breastfeeding Education Advocacy Normalcy Support (B.E.A.N.S.) is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization dedicated to the health of families of color. We offer nutrition counseling and feeding support for parents, infants and children and make every effort to build a supportive and informed community in the Greater Charlotte Market and surrounding areas. We are here to serve and help you meet your unique goals!
What We Offer

Enjoy open and comfortable conversations with specialists and othermothers. All lactation topics from first latch to weaning are open for discussion.

Whether you are a soon-to-be or currently on daddy duties, African American/Black men can join a safe space to simply be themselves.

Our International Board-Certified Lactation Consultants meet one-on-one with pregnant and postpartum clients to achieve their unique feeding goals and overcome any obstacles that arise on their journey.

Throughout the journey of welcoming a new little ones, parents often need a variety of services designed to provide a more balanced well-rounded approach to care.
